There are also other stores during the event which also sells Tomica (e.g. Hung Hing, Daboxtoys, Yat Sing etc.) and other stalls that sells other interesting toys.

             Tomica celebrated its 45th anniversary with the Tomica in Hong Kong 2015 during the Hong Kong Toys Festival 2015 which was held last July 17 to 19 at the Star Hall of Kowloon International Trade and Exhibition Centre (KITEC) in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.

 

 

 

 

             Before entering the event, one has to experience the very long queue outside the venue.  So be prepared by bringing an umbrella and/or a handy fan.  With an entrance fee of HK$20, you will be awed with the vast displays of Tomicas. 

 

 

 

 

             After the T-Club, you can already enjoy hunting for the Tomica items that you like.  Nearest booth are the regular Tomica items and Disney Tomica where the crowd started to build.  Next stop is the Lottery where you get to spin the roulette and get the particular Tomica where it stops.  One spin cost HK$60 with a maximum of 3 spins per round, then you have to go on queue again.  There are nine (9) different Tomicas to choose from.

             There are also games which can be played during the event for free and get a chance to win some Tomica items.

 

 

 

 

             I first went on the T-Club booth while there is still a very short queue.  The staff is very accommodating in assisting me to fill up the form since its not in English.  Upon submission of the form and payment of HK$60, you will be given a membership card which entitles you to discounts and privileges on Tomica items.  You will also be given a voucher for a chance to get the 30th Anniversary Truck of Sogo.

 

 

 

             The event was all fun.  I enjoyed every bit of it, the displays, the activities, everything.  And I am looking forward to some more events like this in the future.
